Portland State University is partnering with Toole Design to research appropriate design guidance for protected bike lanes as they approach intersections. To help practitioners design for user comfort and create protected bike lanes that help everyone travel safely and comfortably, our research partnership is focused on developing thoughtful, contextual guidance for the end user.
