Toole Design is pleased to announce that Jeff Ciabotti has been named Trails and Greenways Lead for the company. A recognized national expert in trail development with over 20 years of experience in trail policy and planning, Jeff’s extensive experience makes him a trusted partner and project manager for trail and greenway development. He will take a national role in Toole Design’s trail and greenway projects, in addition to his current role as Deputy Director of Planning in the Mid-Atlantic region.
“There are precious few people who possess Jeff’s background in both national policy expertise and applied local experience in trail and greenway projects,” said Alia Anderson, AICP, Director of Planning, North America.
Trails and greenways are essential parts of a robust active transportation network, often forming the backbone of comfortable, protected routes that accommodate a variety of users. Under Jeff’s leadership, TDG’s trails and greenways practice provides best practices expertise from the US and abroad, and direct access to key staff at Toole Design offices across the country.
“I’m excited to lead our efforts to help develop more enjoyable, accessible trail and greenway projects across the country” said Jeff. “Safe, connected, well-designed trails and greenways are essential for communities that want to make biking and walking a part of daily life, and I am looking forward to helping our clients bring this vision to life.”
