General Directions
Toole Design’s Providence office is located in the CIC building at 225 Dyer Street, 2nd Floor, in the heart of the city’s Innovation & Design District, across from 195 District Park and the Michael S. Van Leesten Memorial Pedestrian Bridge. The building entrance is on the Dyer Street side.
By Bike
Dyer Street connects directly to the Michael S. Van Leesten Memorial Pedestrian Bridge, a car-free bike and pedestrian bridge linking the Jewelry District to India Point Park and the East Bay Bike Path. Additional bike routes run along South Water Street and through downtown and points west via the Woonasquatucket River Greenway. Bikes are permitted on RIPTA buses (front-mounted racks) and on MBTA commuter rail during non-peak hours and may be parked at bike racks in front of the CIC office building and throughout the Innovation & Design District.
By RIPTA/Train
A RIPTA Downtown Transit Connector (DTC) stop is located directly in front of the building on Dyer Street (at Ship Street), offering high-frequency service. Buses run every 5 minutes in each direction, connecting to Providence Station (Amtrak/MBTA commuter rail) and Kennedy Plaza downtown. From Providence Station, it is a short, one-seat DTC ride directly to the office. Alternatively, the office is approximately a 15–20 minute walk south from the train station.
Driving Directions
From the North
Take I-95 South toward Providence. Follow signs for I-195 East / Downtown Providence, then exit toward South Water Street. Turn onto South Water Street, then turn right onto Point Street, crossing the Point Street Bridge over the Providence River. Turn left onto Dyer Street. The office will be on your right-hand side. Metered on-street parking is available on Dyer Street, in addition to nearby garages including the Innovation District Garage on Clifford Street and the South Street Landing Garage on Eddy Street.
From the South
Take I-95 North toward Providence. Take the exit for Downtown Providence / Point Street. Turn right onto Point Street, crossing the Point Street Bridge over the Providence River. Turn left onto Dyer Street. The office will be on your right-hand side. Metered on-street parking is available on Dyer Street, in addition to nearby garages including the Innovation District Garage on Clifford Street and the South Street Landing Garage on Eddy Street.
From the East
Take I-195 West toward Providence. Follow signs for South Water Street / Downtown Providence. Turn left onto South Water Street, then left onto Point Street. Turn right onto Dyer Street. The office will be on your left-hand side. Metered on-street parking is available on Dyer Street, in addition to nearby garages including the Innovation District Garage on Clifford Street and the South Street Landing Garage on Eddy Street.
