Project Summary
To better align downtown Oakland’s street and transportation networks with the broader vision to support equitable growth and inclusive economic development Toole Design helped reimagine Oakland’s downtown streets to create vibrant public spaces and streets that work for everyone. The outcome is a specific and enduring plan, designed to guide Oakland’s mobility work for the next 5-15 years and serve as a roadmap to improve pedestrian safety, ADA access, provide a low-stress bikeway network, and plan a high-quality transit system to serve the community.
