Getting Ready for NPC25 in Denver

We’re excited for the American Planning Association’s 2025 National Planning Conference, taking place March 29–April 1 in Denver, CO. Toole Design staff will be sharing some recent projects, including updates to the Safer Streets Priority Finder tool and a bike tour of the quick-build, high-comfort bikeways installed as part of Denver’s Community Transportation Network program. We’ll also lead an interactive workshop on creating welcoming spaces in the planning profession. The conversation doesn’t stop there — on April 24, during NPC25’s online program, we’ll take a critical look at why Vision Zero isn’t working yet.

Throughout the conference, you’ll find Toole Design staff ready to connect, share ideas, and learn. Director of Operations, Western U.S. Jessica Fields; Project Planner I Tobi Otulana; Senior Planner Omar Peters; Analyst III Theja Putta; Planner II Anish Tailor; and Denver Office Director Trung Vo will be on hand to discuss our work and explore ways to build safer, more accessible communities together.

Thursday, April 24 - Online Session

In this online session, Trung Vo will lead a discussion with Denver-based experts and national voices on what’s keeping us from making Vision Zero a reality. You’ll explore the Safe System Approach, examine successes and failures in reducing traffic fatalities, and identify the changes needed to make streets truly safe for everyone. Learn more.

We love hearing what our colleagues are working on, and we look forward to this opportunity to learn and share the latest best practices for planning thriving communities. Please reach out if you’d like to set up a time to meet with a Toole Design presenter or a member of our Denver team during NPC25. See you in Denver!
